- Attend your Payroll Election session. The NEO Benefits Checklist shows the forms completed during Payroll and Benefits Election.
You will complete employment and payroll forms on your first day of work during your Payroll Election session. These sessions are held every Monday from 9:00 to 11:30 am at Human Resources in Jones 203. Your specific session date was included in your employee welcome letter.

- Visit Payroll for information about time entry and pay schedules
- Receipt of your first paycheck depends upon timely and accurate completion of payroll documents
- Non-exempt staff are on a bi-weekly (Friday) payroll schedule - for a total of 26 paychecks per year
- Exempt staff are on a bi-monthly (15th and 30th) payroll schedule - for a total of 24 paychecks per year
- Attend the New Employee Orientation event
- New Employee Orientation is held every other Tuesday from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm. Your specific NEO date was included in the New Employee Welcome letter. NEO Schedule
- Complete your Departmental Orientation
- Complete Web Time Entry online training
- Required for hourly employees in departments active in Web Time Entry
- Attend your Individual Benefits Election session
- You will schedule a session time during your Orientation session. Individual Benefits Election sessions are held every other Monday in the Jones Building
- You should carefully review your benefits options and complete your enrollment forms as possible prior to your meetingn if possible
- Explore EKU Direct
- Access to your employment, contact and benefits information
- You will need your EKU ID number, which is assigned during your Payroll Election session
- Review the Employee Performance Evaluation system
- Complete required training
- Online Safety Series at TrainingWeb (registration required)
- Training required by your Supervisor
- Complete your Wellness Profile & Assessment at www.HealthyYouatEKU.com
- Allow 1 to 2 weeks for new employee access to the site
